They are called 'can-dells' and Mum says they are really hot! I nearly singed my beautiful tail a couple of times....
I liked having no lights 'cos Mum and I played 'chase the torch beam' - that's a good game!
But when the lights came on there was this nasty screamy beeping noise that drilled through my head.......we didn't like that at all - in fact it made Pandy have a bad turn!
Mum says it was called the 'Ha-larm' and Daddy turned it off real quick.
All in all - powercuts are definitely not my thang!!

I don't mind the power being off, I just nap more. Momma hates it, goes around the house turning on light switches that don't work.
Did you lose power because of the heat? Lots of cities in the US can't supply enough electricity for people and some have been without power for over a week. Don't go by the candles!
if our power goes out, mommy says the cold air blowy thingie goes out too and that's a bad thing.
Ya it has been really hot here in the US so we've been having lots of power outages here too. According to the Mom, we've been lucky 'cause we need the a/c. Personally I disagree 'cause it's too darn cold in here.
Our power usually goes out more in the winter when it's cold than it does in the summer. Watch out for those candle things!
Mum won't keep can-dells around any more since she gots me. Just doesn't want me to burn my furs or knock it over and starts the house afire.
We's got one of those allarum fingies too, an it frightens us an we runs every which way till one of the beans turns it off. It mostly goes off when mumbean's got her grilling fingy going. We run to our outdoor cage cos it's not so loud there.
Oh I'm not sure I'd like things that could singe my tail! It's so big and fluffy.
I think it's funny when the power goes out because we felines can see in the dark and have no trouble finding our way while our human pets stumble and fumble through the darkness. Now that's entertainment! :)
Mommy gotted out those can-dell fings too the ofur night when the bad boomers started. Having the power out can be fun but sometimes not. As long as you can still see and sniff out yur stinky goodness you'll be fine!
I's furry glad you didn't burn your beautemous foofy tail, Charlie! The Ha-larm sounds real nasty. I hopes the lights stay on.
