This is Uncle Tim in a place called 'Down Under'........looking after little wall -ababies.....
anyways, enough photies.....
I got a good going over. When I goes in for my gerry-hatrick check-up Uncle Tim is always very thorough. Eyes, ears, joints, heart, [coughs politely] waterworks, trim nails and finally a good old stroking! He likes me, he says I look amazing for an 80 yr old! Don't I JUST!
Then charlie got a thorough check up. He had all the usual bits checked; ears, heart, coat, nails trimmed and then Uncle Tim had to look in his mouth, 'cos charlie has got weird teeth.......yup, it's official - charlie's teeth are odd! And then to finish off with, he got this big injection and afterwards he BEEPED! yep, snotrag now beeps!!
[Mama; charlie has been fitted with a thermochip, so he cna be identified if the worst happens and his temperature can be read without a thermometer!]
What?? You mean charlie doesn't have to have that cold wet stick up his bum??
[Mama; yep - they're new!]
[looks faintly worried] do I still have to have the cold wet stick up my bum?
[Mama: yep!!]
life's just SO not fair...........[mumble grumble]

I don't know what is worse, beeping or having something stuck up your bum.
I think I'd rather beep than have something shoved up my tuckus. I wonder if the stabby place can do that for me...?
we have those microchips, but ours don't have the 'mometer so we still have to have the stick, blech ~Merlin,Shadow, Ko ko
don´t have this! but I think that my mom if have one ,because sometimes emit a sound! ups! don´t speak more1 my mom is near! =^^= I have a translator too! ^^
Oh my goodness. I am so glad I have never had to have a cold wet stick put anywhere unpleasant, well not since I have been living with my mum, anyway. I do have a beepy thing in my neck, though, that didn't hurt a bit being put in. Glad you are both "fighting fit", heh heh.

Yup, bum is a funniest word. Mine Mom has a friend who says lotsa funny words cuz her is from England.....her drives on the wrong side of the road, too, Mom says, but she says NO, you drive on the wrong side. Mom says she drives on the right side, that is RIGHT!!
Hmm. Cold wet stick or injection? Cold wet stick? Injection? I think I would just give that evil vet a good thwapping instead.
It's true - I do beep....but my beeper is very old and it doesn't take my temp'arture....
So cold wet stick it is for me then....
Ayla: I tried! I hissed and growled and screeched, but mama had my legs firmly so I couldn't give Uncle Tim the thwapping he deserved.....
